The Role

You will be working as part of a successful, dynamic and proactive quality team with a passion for best in class customer service.

Reporting into the Technical Manager, your primary focus is to be responsible for assessing and releasing of product to satisfactory quality parameters. Another key function of the role will be to collate customer samples on behalf of the sales team, ensuring that they are of a high quality and sent in a timely manner.

You will be responsible for all the administration and internal liaison associated with the releasing and collating of the products and samples.

You will be highly organised and have strong relationships internally throughout the business to ensure that service and quality is first class. You will have experience within a QA or QC function ideally from a food background.

Essential qualities for this role include strong organisation skills, excellent communication skills, “can do” attitude and the ability to work with accuracy and pace. Fork Truck licence preferable.

The Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assessing and releasing of finished products to include frying of products
  • Day to day management of all customer sample requests from receipt to dispatch
  • Liaising closely with the Stock Control Manager to ensure timely testing and releasing of products
  • Liaising with the Quality and Technical Manager on day to day issues
  • Develop strong internal relationships with Technical, Sales and Operations teams.
  • Ad-hoc administrative duties as required
